Tallow Skin Care

Carson Family Farm Tallow products are made from tallow sourced direct from our cattle. Tallow is rendered at a USDA and FDA inspected facility, and hand crafted on our farm with all natural ingredients. Oils are sustainably sourced, certified organic, and only essential oils are used for fragrance.

Why tallow? Pastured tallow is biocompatible with skin cells.

  • Vitamins A, B12, D, E, and K - a combination of vitamins only found in animal products
  • Alpha linoleic and linoleic acids - also known as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids maintain the structure and barrier function of skin. They are beneficial for calming anti-inflammatory and immune response in skin including eczema and rosacea.
  • Stearic acid and oldie acid - fatty acids in the outer layer of skin act to soften, moisturize, regenerate, and repair the flexibility of skin.
  • Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) - Anti-inflammatory properties, and is also anti microbial.
  • Palmitoleic acid - very anti microbial and a basic building block for skin.
  • Palmitic acid - helps improve skins smoothness and barrier function, decreases with aging.
